Literature Text

If only it was the sky that stayed in place,
And the earth that slowly ran beneath my feet.
I could spend a few hours keeping my place,
then sit and watch the sunset down my street.

Over the rocky hill,
And past the power station,
Across the train bridge,
And off into the distance.

If only the skies were solid,
I could stand atop the clouds.
If only space was liquid,
I could swim among the stars.

If only the snow was warm,
I could lay down here and sleep.
Time could pass without harm,
All while I'm counting sheep.

If only time was cheap,
I could reap the fruits of life.
We could stay forever on this beach,
Away from all that strife.

But the sun glows brilliant red,
And I stand here in my place.
Several minutes pass me by,
And I stand here in the dark.
What stark contrast it is,
What a wondrous sight.

With night comes another kind of peace,
The kind we find in dreams.
Dreams about about the stars,
And why life is as it seems.
Had to mess around with this some, didnt like the preview image so I changed it from digital art to literature.

The Full pixel can be found here, [link] Seeing as I coudnt figure out how to get it to be above my poem and also a non-fugly preview image.

Looks lovely, the dithering and such is quite nice. :)
